Andrew Check, M.D.

Mother with babyOver the years, my mantra has always been ‘a healthy mom and a healthy baby’.  To that end, I have cared for and delivered over 3,500 babies, including numerous twins and one triplet pregnancy.

Having the ability to share in a families greatest experience is simply awesome.  During my 34 years of practice, I have had that honor, over and over again.  What is even more gratifying for me as an obstetrician, is to care for and deliver numerous patients whom I had delivered as a baby.  Trust me, it never does get old or routine.

In caring for the pregnant mom and her baby, I find experience is the most important teacher of all.  The anxiety experienced by every young physician, has now matured into confidence and reassurance in all decisions.  I truly believe this has enhanced the experience for every family I am honored to be a part of during prenatal care, delivery and post-partum care.

American College of Obstetrics and GynecologyAfter passing my boards in obstetrics and gynecology, I was elected a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1982.

I will maintain the traditions, the dignity, the standards, and the ethics of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

I will devote myself to those medical activities which properly come within the scope of obstetrics and gynecology. I will follow those methods of diagnosis and treatment which according to my judgment are consistent with the principles of the college. When in doubt, I will seek the counsel of my colleagues.

I shall willingly assist others and advance knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology to the best of my ability.
